Humble is two markets in one postal code, and the installation you need depends on which side of it you live on.

Old Humble versus the newer east side

The older core around downtown Humble carries mid-century housing with the service sizes that come with it, which puts the load calculation at the front of the job.

Fall Creek, Eagle Springs and Balmoral are post-2000 and largely 200-amp, where the calculation usually confirms there is room. Same city, different projects.

Commercial charging on the northeast corridor

Humble sits against the Beltway 8 and Generation Park corridor, close to Bush Intercontinental. That produces a genuine commercial and fleet demand that most residential-focused installers do not handle.

The pattern on these sites is consistent: a building whose electrical service was sized for its original use, now being asked to support charging for a tenant’s vehicles. The service capacity study has to come before any port count gets promised, and load management routinely raises the achievable number without a service upgrade.

For fleets turning vehicles around within a shift rather than parking them overnight, the conversation moves to DC fast charging and to demand charges, which usually dominate operating cost on that equipment.

Which office issues the permit?

Addresses inside the Humble city limits go through the City of Humble. The surrounding area — including much of the newer development — is unincorporated Harris County and goes through Harris County Engineering. The two are different processes and the boundary is not intuitive from a street address, so we confirm it before scheduling.

Airport-area properties

Properties near Bush Intercontinental sit under approach paths and within areas where some construction is subject to additional review. For a residential charger circuit this rarely signifies, but on commercial sites with pole-mounted equipment, canopies or lighting it can. Worth raising early rather than at inspection.

What we install here

Residential Level 2 and hardwired installations, panel work on the older core, and a higher share of commercial charging than most of our service area.
